Dear Aggie VIP:
There are over 3,000 former students from Texas A&M University living in the D.C . Metro area. While we are committed to being active in our new communities, there are a few events throughout the year when the National Capital Texas A&M Club (NCTAMC) draws Aggies together. One of those events, Muster, is coming up on April 21, 2012.
Muster is a ceremony when all former and current students of the university, that have died in the preceding year, are remembered at the main campus in College Station and by A&M groups around the world. Since Muster began, it has been held anywhere Aggies can join together: on Corregidor during WWII, small towns in Texas, in Baghdad, and here in D.C. For the NCTAMC, Muster is not only an opportunity to remember Aggies who have died, but also an opportunity to reconnect with old friends, reminisce on days in Aggieland, and raise money for a scholarship fund to send local students to Texas A&M.
The 2012 Muster Planning Committee is expecting around 300 Aggies and friends to attend our Muster this year and is searching for former students interested in serving as sponsors so that we may give as much money as possible to the scholarship fund. As a sponsor, you would receive recognition at the event and in our program, as well as a number of complimentary tickets to the ceremony at the Army Navy Country Club in Arlington, VA.
If you are interested in serving as a sponsor or learning more about the scholarship endowment fund, please
