1. LTC Mark Stratton ’91 was killed in action on May 26th in Afghanistan. Here is an article written by a service member who worked with Mark in Afghanistan and was touched by his personality and commitment, as many of us were.

The military funeral with full honors will be held at Arlington National
Cemetery Tuesday, 9 June, at 1100.
Muster at the New Administration building (next to the Visitors Center) at 1050
in order to observe the Transfer Ceremony (hearse to caisson) and follow the
caisson to the burial site.

Kelli Usé, VP of Student Development - kuse@nationalstrategies.com
Kelli Usé, Class of 2007, is from Flower Mound, Texas (20miles North of Dallas). Kelli graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Political Science (emphasis in National Security) and is a Consultant for National Strategies (NSI) in D.C. Kelli works with Public Safety/Homeland Security clients and advises companies on doing business with state and local governments. Kelli is also a member of the State of Maryland Chapter FBI InfraGard and mentors Washington Interns through the Fund for American Studies. Kelli moved to Washington in late January of this year and will serve the Nation’s Capital Texas A&M Club as the Vice President of Student Development. Despite the fact that she is learning to love all that DC has to offer, Kelli misses Mi Cocina, her dog Jake, Texas A&M football season tickets, and Texas Country Music.

Neal Grabarkewitz is a native of Arlington, TX. Neal is a graduate of the class of 1995 with a Degree in Business Administration. Neal has resided in the DC metro area since 2007. Neal has worked as a recruiting leader in the Aerospace and Defense industry for the last 10 years, most recently working as a Recruiting Director with BAE Systems and currently working for Raytheon as Talent Acquisition Leader. This is Neal's first term as a Club Officer and he hopes to use his professional experience to continue the tremendous growth of the club's roster and work to ensure a memorable membership experience for all DC Aggies.
